I CAN BE ANYTHING!

Hey! Long time no write! It's been almost two months since I last wrote in this blog. I don't mean to neglect it but life happens, and lately so many different things have been happening in my life (all positive, so no worries) that I've kind of put this blog on the back burner. A big thank you goes out to people who continue to subscribe and read my posts. I appreciate it.

I don't know if anyone out there remembers that PBS show for kids that ran back in the 1980's, "Reading Rainbow"?  I think it was popular back in the early 1980s... or maybe those were just reruns... ? I don't know, but I was a very little kid back then (I was born in '82) and I still remember the theme song from the show to this day:

"Butterfly in the sky
I can go twice as high
Take a look
It's in a book
A Reading Rainbow
I can go anywhere
Friends to know
And ways to grow

I can be anything

Does that sound familiar to anyone? :) My parents tell me that I literally use to go around the house singing that song all the time! My father still reminds me of that to this day. I was particularly fond of "I can be anything" part. You see, from an early age I was beginning to learn that I truly can be anything that I want to be! That nothing is impossible! And thankfully, I not only heard it in song from that show, but I had parents who instilled that same thought in me. They always told me that I can be anything I want to be, I just have to be willing to work hard to achieve it. I thank God for having parents who were my biggest cheerleaders. Having that belief of myself is what has propelled me to try and achieve many different goals in my life. I was never was scared of trying anything. And if I failed? So what! That's what life is all about! Trying new things and figuring out what you do best!

I'm here to tell you, even if no one's ever told you this before, or maybe you've never believed it possible of yourself before, YOU CAN BE ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO BE! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! All you gotta' do is believe! And go after it with all you got! I know all of this may sound corny, but it's true! It's worked for me thus far and I know if you adapt this thought and give it a try, it will work for you too!
