"Where man wants to put a period, God inserts a comma.
It ain't over 'till God says it's over."
It ain't over 'till God says it's over."
Hey positive ones! :) It's been awhile since I've posted but you know how that goes... this blog is a little different than COAF (Confessions of a Fit Girl) because the inspiration for the words I write in this one come from much higher than my head, if ya' know what I mean. ;) But I'm back, with another post, keeping it short, sweet and to the point.
You know sometimes I think we're our on worst enemies. We could do so much more with our lives if we only believed in ourselves the way God believes in us. But we don't. Instead we listen to other people and let their negativity build up in our heads until we actually believe the bull that's being said to us! We have officially become our own worst enemy because once you actually believe that you can't do something, no amount of persuasion from anyone else is ever going to change your mind. Did you read the quote above? If not I suggest you take a moment and do so... go on, I'll wait... did you read it? Well, I like it so much I'm going to say it again: "Where man wants to put a period, God inserts a comma. It ain't over 'till God says it's over." What does all that mean? That means that no matter how bad your situation may look, what has happened in the past, or even what's going on now, God has the final say so. It ain't over until He says it's over! God runs the show and He works not on our time, but His. So I say all this to say, be patient and don't get discouraged or give up on yourself! Remember, God is in control. He hears you and He cares. Don't let the opinions of others or even the negative opinions you may have of yourself, get you down or make you lose hope.
Stay positive and know that if you're reading this right now, YOU ARE BLESSED! Why? Umm... let's see... you're alive, you're breathing, you can see, you can read, you own and/or have access to a computer... the list could go on and on, but more importantly, I have a sneaking suspicion that this message is encouraging you right now! :)
