Food For Thought: Be Thankful!

Hey positive people! It's been awhile but I'm back! :) It's December, Christmas is almost here, and I felt like I should at least get one post in before the new year hits. So how's it going? Are you feeling the holiday spirit or feeling the holiday stress? Me? A little bit of both. And I think that's common. With all the commercial hoopla that surrounds Christmas and New Years, we often forget to stop and be thankful for the true meaning behind Christmas and how blessed we are to live to see another new year. (Tomorrow is never promised and EVERYDAY is blessing!) Christmas time should be a time of loving, giving & sharing with family & friends, not being stressed out and/or going into debt buying presents. The Christmas tree, decorations and lights are nice, but if you don't really understand or recognize why CHRISTmas should never be shortened to X-Mas, what are you really celebrating? Think about it. So I end this short but sweet post with this, take the time out this holiday season to appreciate and be thankful. Remember, no matter how bad your current situation may seem, it could ALWAYS be worse! And God never puts more on you than you personally can handle, so know that no matter what it looks like now, no season lasts forever.

Wishing everyone who reads this a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Jonelle
